Carl Jung wrote a lot about that. In a writing class today one of the women wrote a message from an ancestor: “Note the wounds and turn toward them.” Truth sets us free. 💞😘💖
Thank you for that! We have many things in common; abandonment issues, distrustful of others, oldest child, art as a refuge and means of expression. Some one should devise an MMPI sort of test or emotional damage checklist just for artists. We would probably be amazed and, then again, maybe not. Might be some comfort in that and help give credence to artists as “different” from the world out there. Thanks again. I have no doubt you will continue to persevere.
